Meeting Report - December 2004
Julia Nicholls (Assistant Product Manager, Home and Entertainment Division, Microsoft) attended and gave a good demo of Office 2004 suite of programs.
Traditionally the December meeting is Pizza night. Back in the mist of ages when the Club was young we used to attend the MacWorld Exhibitions at Darling Harbour. Whilst packing up after one of these, someone from one of the suppliers booths came round and offered us a case of beer. A few moments later he appeared again and we took a second. The committee decided on the spot to share the largesse at the next meeting, and since we couldn't just have beer, we ordered Pizza to go with it. Now we have no beer but we have Pizza!
